I am associate professor in statistics at the Department of Basic Sciences and Environment at the Faculty of Life Sciences, University of Copenhagen.My work involves research, teaching and statistical consulting.
Research Interests
My current research interests are:- Analysis of quantitative traits for complex human families using mixed models.
- QTL analysis in the presence of heterogeneity and gene*environment interaction. Genetic marker error detection.
- Simulation-based inference. MCMC methods.
- Analysis of microarray DNA chips.
- Image analysis --- in particular related to analysis of microarray spot shapes
- Analysis of metabolic profiles
